Don't doubt that...the truck was probably squatting 4 inches. WDH will smooth out your ride tremendously.

Lippert probably came up with a cheaper way of building the frame.......it apparently didn't work out so well. I can not believe they used a fabricated C for a dropped A frame. This is getting ridiculous. Is it a Lippert (LCI) frame? It should have a big white barcode label plastered on the curbside main rail at the front.

Mine is lippert. Fabricated I-beam has been welded and reinforced after the 2nd year.
5000 mile round trip last month and zero troubles this time.

All cross members forward of the axles where they meet the beam. Rear spring mount on the left was nearly ripped off. Weld shop said the reason the mount failed was because it was welded all the way to the edge creating a cut to start it.
Stress at the cross member while turning cracked the frame in 5 different places.
All repairs were out of warranty and still covered at my local shop by my dealer.

Wow is all I can say about that....glad the repairs seem to have solved it.....when you get under one of these and look around a little its amazing to say the least. And they get more cheaply made every year. Did you even attempt to get LCI involved?

Nope, never even bothered with them. Figured they would want to dictate the repairs of a frame that they thought was high quality in the first place. Dealer was sent the bill from the weld shop and we got to make the repairs to our satisfaction.

I know mine loaded up with a week worth supplies weighs in at 860lbs TW and that's with empty FW.
Every thing you put inside, other than the refrigerator, goes in front of the axels. In fact, most goes all the way up front.
Actually, I'm surprised that the ball mount survived.

That should not have happened wdh or not . now do you know what his TW is ? 860 or in my case 1150 still should not do this wdh or not . there is no way to put the fault anywhere but where it lies and that's with FR and my guess LIPPERT

And why is that ? no reason what happened to this a frame should happen weather in OK' Kansas or Alaska . it's not like he's off roading it and the roads to alaska are not what they were 15yrs ago .

Says he got the new and improved C channel a-frame.
I'd guess he's in the ballpark with mine.

Yes it is a Lippert. The barcode says 5zt2femb7fa017007. May be a serial number.

We love the layout of the floor plan. It is the smallest we could find with the wall at the foot of the bed and an aisle on each side of the bed. The 2 slideouts are a bonus with the island. I would have to say it is built in a thrifty manner. One the first couple of trips, sawdust came out where they bored holes for plumbing and wiring. The also bored the holes from the back side so you have rough edges on the finished side. Our only wish is for a skylight in the living area as it tends to be dark.
Fortunately, I had insurance and they paid for the repairs minus the deductible.
