Columbus Stud Bolts

Stud bolts.
Just bought a columbus 375 rl
Lost a tire off it running down the road.
After looking at it in the light the stud bolts only come threw the wheels 3/8"
Which after about 7 turns they are bottomed out.
Looking on line they should be 14 turns before they bottom out.
Wondering if anyone else has had a issue like this

Is this a new unit?

Sounds like somebody put short lug bolts in the hub. Have you pulled the hub to see what they look like?

But the unit was shipped with aluminum wheels.
Only came threw the wheel 5 /16 " of a inch.
So about 5 .5 turns and they were hitting the wheel solid.

I'd take it back to the dealer and have them replace all the studs with the proper length ones. I'd go very carefully!
