I just took a short trip with the camper and the disc brakes worked great. Had to make a quick stop in Wilmington and camper stopped so quick. That was money well spent

I finished the install of my disc brakes today. Tested in the driveway and they definitely stop better than old drum brakes. I did not get it out on the highway yet, but will do that soon. The install probably took me 3 times longer than someone who does this for a living, mostly due to lack of experience. But I also took a lot of pains running tubing, and wiring and am sure I used twice as many zip ties and cable clamps, plus I take frequent breaks, along with the occasional nap under the rv....lol. And there was that stinkin spider too.....

Jokes aside, I'm pleased so far. Need to get it on the highway and test things out.
