Do I balance tires

Putting new tires on my Flagstaff. Dealer states he can balance the tires, but typically does not on travel trailers. Any advise? Do you have your trailer tires balanced?

We like to blame all the tire failures on trailers due to "China Bombs" and perhaps deservedly so....but if we just slapped tires on our vehicles and didn't balance them, we would likely here of a ton more failures on them too. A little vibration and next thing you know you have uneven wear, perhaps more tread separation...when I changed ours out my tire dealer said..."Just cause you you aren't riding in the trailer as it moves down the highway and not noticing a vibration, doesn't mean it isn't there."
Balancing may be one of the best $60-$80 mods you will make to your trailer.

Why is the whole world so dang lazy? Same issue I had in Livingston, Mt. this summer.
Guys in the shop had 2 tires on when I asked that question. Told them beforehand to balance. Had to go to the shop manager to get it done. He says we don't usually do that, I say I won't pay if you don't.
Get r done!

These threads always surprise me. Was raised on a farm back in the dark ages and we had lots of trailers. Even back then I never heard of anybody NOT balancing trailer tires. Boggles my brain..😐

Balance

Balance the tires. If you use a TPMS put the transmitters on prior to balance. The more you do to protect your tires the better off you are.
