Electric Brakes

Prior to leaving out on our Alaska/Canada vacation back in May, I packed all four wheels bearings, while the drums were off, I painted them with some hi-temp header paint. Today after 8700 miles, I have noticed that three of the brake drums have turned brown while one is still bright and shinny. One of two things happening here, either the one wheels brakes are not working correctly, are the other three are working to well. Have not tried checking the brake show adjustment on the one as yet, tomorrow, will also check the other three for adjustments of maybe being to tight. All have worked well these 8700 miles, still have another 4000k to go before getting back home to georgia... Any opinons would be great?????

Electric Brakes

After further inspection, I found the two green wires exiting the rear of the backing plate for the front axle brake were in fact cut....repaired these wires by putting them back together, after driving a few miles, the brake drum did warm up some. Not sure if this green wire goes anywhere special as it was very short and both ends came out of the back of the backing plate, there was a wire connecter hanging on one of the wires ends.....the other wire look as though it had been cut...will adjust shoes tomorrow since we are parked for two days here in Whitecourt, Alberta Canada....
