Fifth wheel landing gear does not retract

2014 Rockwood 8289WS fifth wheel - my right side landing strut extends but will not retract. Pulled into RV park for overnight stay. As usual we extended the front landing gear to lift the fifth wheel up to unhitch. No problem extending, we unhitched the truck. Then with RV weight on front landing gear, we hit the retract button to lower the front to level the fifth wheel. But the right side strut does not retract. Left side strut retracts as usual. Right side will not retract while bearing weight of RV. Right side's internal gearing is broken??

Stuck in KOA until we can retract the landing gear.

You probably sheared either the bolt on the drivers side or the passenger side of the square tube used to connect the two jacks.

My Wildcat has a bolt used as a sheer pin that I broke when I retracted the landing gear too far. Perhaps the same happened to your setup. If so, just replace the bolt.

Found a mobile RV repair technician who came to my camp site. Yes you are right, the pin (bolt) on drive shaft had sheared. Replaced with new pin (bolt) after realigning left and right struts. All good now.
