Question fixing LCI power jack

my LCI power jack has broken after a couple of uses.dealer has told me the first opening that is available is july 14 and then it could take three weeks after that to have it fixed. has anyone ever fixed one of these crappy jacks.the motor works but it seems like it has a broken shear pin but i can not find one in gear housing.

If you are talking about the tongue jack & it is under warranty, see if your dealer will just supply you with a replacement & install it yourself. Very easy to do; just three bolts & battery connection. You can probably do it in about 10 minutes, then you won't have to wait on dealer. Good Luck

Sorry to hear that, but it seems to be a common problem. Luckily, our dealer is great; never had a problem with them & always go the extra mile to help. Again, good luck.

My LCI jack sheared a pin or stripped a gear or whatever about my third trip out. Had the dealer warranty it out for me, since I live a good distance from the dealer, I just carried the broken jack in and picked up th new one. Three bolts to remove, easy done with use of floor jack. One quick electrical connection done deal three years ago!

LCi DOES NOT repair any jacks, they just supply a new one.
They are imported by them and no replacement parts are available.
I had the same thing happen to me, is how I know.
I bought a new one locally, then once I got the replacement under warranty I sold it on craigs list.

From a PM standpoint, how hard is it to lube the LCI power jack?
