Flat spots on Tires

Hey all,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question or not but, here it is.
We do not use our TT a whole lot so it tends to sit in the driveway the majority of the time. I was thinking about jacking up the trailer and putting jackstands under the axles to keep the tires off the ground and help with eliminating flat spots on them.
What is everyone Else's opinion on this?

I think that's a good idea other than do not jack the trailer up on the axles or put the jack stands under the axles especially if it has torsion axles. Put the jack stands on the framework holding the suspension.

That's just fine. Make sure that the surface is good and solid. Concrete is fine, asphalt the stands can sink in on a hot summer day, dirt is worse. You can place a 2X8 or 2X10 cut to fit slightly larger than the footprint of the stand to prevent that sinking feeling.

That's fine, but if you put them under the frame where the suspension is attached, you can take the load off the springs, etc. also. I plan on doing that on my torsion axles to take the load off the suspension and tires.

WHEW!! good to know I do any harm. I was going to support the frame, but my jack doesn't have that much travel to take the weight of the trailer and the load of the suspension. I'd need a jack with about 3' of travel. LOL
