Floor under slide

Does anyone know how to bring the lower edge of the slide on the inside up a couple of inches so the floor of the main body can be replaced? I really don't want to remove the slide or pay for a shop to do it. Thank you.

I've never done it but it might help others if you told us what trailer you have - year, make, and model - and if its an electric or hydraulic mechanism.

By the way - Welcome!!

99 flagstaff RBS25. I think its hydrolic but not sure. I was hoping for some kind of adjustment that would adjust it up a couple of inches. Thanks for advise.

Attached is a manual for a Lippert hydraulic slide mechanism that could give you ideas on adjustments or even removal. I do not know if your slideout mechanism is a Lippert and, if not, then you might find out the manufacturer and contact them for ideas.

Here's some past threads that address slideout removal...

Maybe others who have had to do this can help more.

Thanks again Scott! That does appear to be the one in my 5th Wheel. It looks like I should be able to raise the height up enough to get a new floor in. I really appreciate your help.
