Ford Factory Puck System

Trying to find options for using an existing (rail mount) hitch with the Ford, in-bed, puck system.

What I found...

REESE makes this one.
Demco makes this one.
Hensley makes this one.
PullRite makes this one.
Comfort Ride makes this one.

Please don't turn this into a 'which hitch is best' thread or 'this is the hitch I use'. That's another discussion but not this one.
I'm simply looking for drop in adapters to use a rail mount hitch in Ford's factory puck system and want to cover all the bases.

Have I missed any?

You will have to get one of the picture frame adapters for your Puck system then just drop your hitch into it just like you would with the rails.

Yep...
I realize that and why I posted links to the ones I found.
Just trying to be sure I didn't miss any.

B&W also makes a drop in hitch.

My question is why bother? I have pulled a fiver for 12 years, using Ford super duty pickups, and used conventional rails, fastened to the center pair of bed bolts. Had to make some spacers out of 1-1/2" diameter steel bar, and needed to machine out a small portion of the holes in the rails to fit the larger Ford bolts. Never had a bit of trouble of any kind with this set up.
The hitch installers of course, had a different opinion from the one who clued me in, though the fore and aft bolt spacing on the Fords is exactly the correct spacing for rail mounts. I don't believe this was accidental, and it does bolt right to the frame. Just sayin' this worked very well for me! I would be doing it yet, had I not bought an MH.

could you post a picture? I have a Ford SD but it has the ball drop in and then two sets of attachments for chains or use all four for a conventional hitch

I am using the Demco 18k Autoslider in my F350. It works just fine except it's over 250 lbs so getting it in and out of the truck can be difficult.

I installed an electric hoist from HF in my garage so i have no problem installing.

I have a Curt 24k hitch in mine. It separates into two pieces which makes install and removal very easy. I chose the 24k model for extra safety and additional weight in rear when unloaded which helps ride quality.

If you have a puck system, spend the extra money and get a hitch that uses it. Using a rail system above the puck adds too much height to the hitch which is already a problem.
