Goodyear endurance tires

Just returned from a 6000 mile trip out west with new endurance tires, put about 5000 miles on tires . No problems with tires even when the California roads tried to beat them to death. 225 75 15 on flagstaff 5th wheel. Cost just under $600 at Discount tire

Thanks for the report - good to hear. We are taking our new Endurance tires on their first trip on Thursday.

I am not sure if that's any indication of the reliability. I have run the so called China bombs many more miles than that without any issues whatsoever. If you think the roads are bad in CA, give PA a try. I've hit a few of our potholes lately that could swallow a small trailer LOL.

In the last couple of years with a 2015 camper with 2015 tires we traveled to the Mississippi Gulf, Pennsylvania, Texas, and numerous local trips. Had to replace one tire prior to PA and another one when we got back from Texas. Banding had come loose in both tires. Tires were maintained and were rated fairly well but I expect better. This Spring I put a new set of the Goodyear Endurance tires on. If they don't live up to their billing I am going to be very upset to say the least.

This is the best indication of their reliability that I've come across. Not bad for tires that were released this year.

Good point. I just checked ours. Discount tire direct is the same for 225-75-15E 117N @121.00 ea. If you have time to watch Discount Tire Direct on E--bay(no freight or tax) they will have $100 off a set... did a few weeks ago, but no extra funds here. Maybe next time.

Thanks

I'm having 4 put on in the morning along with new bearings. Everything I've read about the Endurance tire indicates Goodyear has tried to address the problems that have been causing so many problems with trailer tires. We shall see. I kind of hate getting rid of the tires I have because they are two years old and "look" brand new.

Endurance tires

My China Towmax tires were only on for the trip from Indiana to Missouri. Good riddance!!! sold them to a gentleman to put on a Bobcat trailer used only on his farm. I warned him not to trust them on the highway.
