Not the state attorney general, NHTSA. They are the ones needing the info, they are the ones with the clout to do something. National vs state, I'll do National any day. Even the front of your manual says to report to NHTSA.

I'm reading on Forest River's website that they're using "Dexter EZ-Lube" axles. Are these axles made by Lippert as well, or is "Dexter" a different supplier? Anyone know?

Dexter and lippert are two different axle manufacturers.

Well thank the RV gods for that little ray of sunshine. Thanks, Turbs!

Got my drums back this morning and back together. Took for a test drive and they work perfectly. Smooth, even braking. $100 for 4 drums turned and new seals. Not bad...even better if I can get reimbursed.

"UPDATE"
Forest River has decided to absolutely not stand behind their product. Said that since it was already fixed it wasn't their problem. Thank you Steve Brandenburger at Forest River Warranty. Luckily for me, my dealer (300 miles away) stepped in and covered the measly 100 bucks and threw in some extra perks to cover Forest River's poor judgment. A hundred bucks?? Really? I would've spent 3 times that transporting back and forth just for one trip and we all know it would've taken two. That's why I did it!

Basden's American RV in Evansville, In. has earned 5 stars today.

Interesting. We bought our 2014 Columbus 365RL in October of 2103 and after reading about the concerns of the hub seals leaking, I removed all 4 and inspected them.

I posted the results and some pictures, in another thread: Brake Issues On Columbus

We will be returning from a 2 month trip the end of this week and will have accumulated about 1,200 miles on the coach. When we get back, I'll be doing my regular clean out, wash, wax and inspection. And, I'll be adding removing an inspecting / adjusting the brakes. (which are currently working normally)
