Grease the lippert drive tube------

When on my 4th July trip, out of boredom I checked the drive tube (don't know what else to call it) that moves the bump out in and out for the living room on the 8285WS. Over time it seem that the bump out did not move as smooth as it did when brand new. So I crawled under the bump out at the rear, noticed the drive tube appeared to be dry or dragging as it moved in and out. I applied a lite coat of hitch ball grease to the tube.
What a difference when the room moves in and out, much smoother than before. Nothing tells me anything about maintenance. So it is a do it yourself
thing I guess.
