I got it last year at right about this time so I may be out of warranty but honestly, with the hassle of taking it back and picking it up, and the fact that I'd prefer to do as much of my own repairs as possible (so I can do them when I'm definitely out of warranty), I'd just as soon take care of this myself (with help from you fine people as well of course).
On the LCI site, the installation guide specifically notes to leave some slack in the wiring to allow for horizontal motor movement. There is *some* slack but the motor will eventually strain against the wire if I don't push it back in. As noted, the front jack doesn't move like this.
I just sent an email to LCI. Hopefully they can shed some light on this.
Update: They replied that this is working as designed and suggested that I add more slack to the wiring. I guess I'll just hold the motor from sliding out as it lowers down.
