Is failure eminent?

My Lipppert power tongue jack works great but it has blown the 30 amp fuse twice. My warranty is up in March and I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and if this a good enough reason to try and have it replaced.

Put an auto reset breaker on it and keep the jack covered.

Thanks for the suggestion! Maybe water is getting inside somehow. About $20 for a cover and circuit breaker on Amazon.

I use an old fold-up lawn chair bag to cover mine, it's nylon so it keeps the water out but still breaths, never take it off.

If yer blowing fuses...chances are you have some bad wiring joins or contacts to clean up first. A little emery paper can brighten things up for ya!

Are you blowing the fuse when you are retracting? Maybe you are hitting the limit? We had this problem a couple times because we didn't realize we hit the stop point. Jerry.
