Landing extending unevenly

Just purchased a used 2005 sportsman 305rk 5th wheel. The landing gear extends unevenly, with the right side extending farther. When retracted they are even. Previous owner advises he never had problem
or had them worked on. Ideas / solutions?

As long as you can block them up evenly it really shouldn't matter if they come down uneven.
You're landing gear does have pins to adjust the lower legs correct?
Sometimes I have to adjust two or three pin holes difference to make the landing gear even .
I guess it really doesn't make sense why they come up to the top even but go out uneven.

Are the landing gear hydraulic? I can't see this happening with a electric gear driven set-up.

Yes the landing gear has pins and I adjust them so legs start out even. The landing gear is electric motor/gear not Hyd. I can hear a slight clicking on the leg that doesn't extend at the samae rate. thinking internak gear problem? I have no idea of how they work internaly

It may have one tooth chipped off the gear causing the problem.

That would make sense and explain why they retract to the proper position. Guess I will
have to take it in and have the gears replaced.

Been looking for this post. My 2013 rockwood 8282ws is the same way. Drivers side landing gear is about 3/4" shorter than curb side. I'm on level driveway and the only way to make them touch simultaneously is by putting pad under one side. Should not be that way.
