LCI Power Jack

I have a lippert power jack model 181794 and wonder if it can be turned to the side as we need room for the truck end gate it won't come down with jack facing forward......need to get my dogs in the back of truck....any help will be appreciated

sounds like a tough one
My manual boat jack is on the side and swivels 90deg. I am sure your camper has a heavier tongue and I don't know what the stress would be on the frame.
I have seen custom tail gates made with gaps(lower middles) to allow for fithwheel tongue. These might allow the tail gate to fully open.

I just did a GOOGLE search on "fifth wheel tailgates" an they might have just what you need.
