LCI Tounge Jack....Who has one

In april I replaced my manual crank jack that decided to come apart on a sunday afternoon leaving camp with a LCI Unit that I found at Cabels. Today I went to move the Trailer and it was making some weird noises. Who has one and are you happy???

We had a LCI it lasted about 6 months now have a 5000lb manual jack, don't want to get stuck with a bust jack so didn't go electric with the replacement.

Yes I have the Lippert jack that came with our trailer new. It would then it wouldnt Work on our long trip last year. So I replaced it with a Barker VIP from Adventure RV in TENN. When we got home contacted F/R dealer,no go,then contacted LCI,no go. So now it is in a corner of the shop collecting dust. VIP is a very good jack. Youroo!!

I have one that came with my trailer. I used it more than a dozen times so far and it is still working.

I've got the original that came on my trailer as well, and probably cycled it well over 50 times in the year and it still works perfect. (knock on wood)

I replaced one last year under warranty. Just about a year on the replacement and have used it several times this year. It gets a workout setting up my Equalizer hitch. My confidants is not real high so is carry a 2ton jack. Not heard very much good about LCI jacks. Just waiting to see...

LCI Jack

I bought a new Graywolf this spring, on the 4th trip out the tungue jack failed. Sounds like the clutch has failed. I am wondering based on other posts if this a weak point of the LCI jack.

The weakest point on the LCI jack is the name Lippert. It seems as if Lippert has more than its share of problems all the way from frames to jacks.

Most of us will suggest replacing the whole jack.

From my own experience and reading about LCI jacks from others, I'd say that you are correct.

After two or three months of owning one, I replaced my LCI jack that ate up its insides with a Barker 3500vip.

I think mine is an LCI and it's so dang noisy. I almost wish it would fail so I could get a different one.
