Lippert Axle

Hello all--

I have a Lippert Axle that needs to be replaced. 3,500#. I learned my lesson, but the axle bent and "kinked" when I lifted the trailer by the shackles to slide the RV into a corner of my heated shop for the winter. I've done this before with no issues, but evidently it wasn't a good idea this time....

Question--is it best to order the Lippert components from the factory direct? Or have a dealer order it? Shipping, etc.?

Have any of you had experience dealing with Lippert directly? After my experience with the dealer and reading a bit about faulty Lippert components, I'm a bit leery!

Thanks for any input

www.etrailer.com sells Dexter Axles at reasonable prices. Get the axle number off the tube and call them for a quote.
