Lippert Super Lube Hubs, 1st time

Well I finally decided to grease my axle hubs. This is my 4th year with this unit and all my trips have been relitively short, I hve put on probably about 2000 km in total. After watching some you tube, I ran my wheels up a block in order to get them off the ground (one at a time of course). The first hub went well. I spun the wheel while pumping in the lithium complex synthetic grease until the new grease came out the front, as per directions. The old grease was kind of green grey and I used red grease this time. Next time I will use green again so it is easier to tell when the new grease comes around. It took quite a bit of grease though and it was kind of awkward trying to get the old grease out of the wheel cover. So for the next hubs I decided to take the wheels right off, and it was definitely easier. I could see the grease coming out and it was an easy wipe with a paper towel. I just hope it worked, I'll find out when I hit the road in a couple of days I guess.
