Need help with the front jacks on my 2005 Forest River Cedar Creek

as I finished leaving down the front electric jacks of the fifth wheel to unload it at the State Park the left side jack refused to come down. The right side worked as it should have. I was able to unload the fifth wheel using just the right side jack and blocking up the left. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? could I have sheered a pin on the left side? I went to an rv dealer but they didn't have a clue what could be wrong. They wanted to sell me a rebuild kit but we didn't know what electric motor and gears the there had. When I got back I looked and I believe the name on the motor is made by Venture manufacturing. I am 145 miles from home and any help would be appreciated.
