New Skin or My Monday at the Tire Shop

Got 4 of these these put on today... there goes the last $1000 bill I had!

30,000 miles on the original Continentals and they were junk!

Nice tires.
Your legs look really short!

At 6'1" they don't call me stubby for nothing!

I've had Michelins on 3 trucks now. Dodge ½ ton got 80,000 miles before a belt separated. We've gotten better than that on my wife's Grand Cherokee and Toyota Camry. Good tires, IMO.

Chrome bumper mirrors are not always accurate.

Neither is the 'chrome horn' when I've had to use it!

I had a set of Goodyear Wranglers on my 2011 Silverado that were original. At 89k miles I figured it was time for a new Silverado.

Those may be my next tires too. What exact model are they? I have the Michelin Primacy which is a cheap tire. Seems to be wearing faster than I would like.

Michelin LTX AT2.
10 Ply.

I've run the LTX MS2 for years but wanted a bit more aggressive tire as we are doing more boondocking and it seems like it is never going to quit raining here in the North East so lots of mud and spongy ground. Of course our 200" of annual snowfall doesn't help during the winter months either.

We have a home in Lake Tahoe. Between our house and local ski resorts we have a lot. Not sure about all terrain but when we are there in the winter, might be nice. Over 500" where we ski.

Got 50K on my factory Generals on my F-350 dually. Replaced the front due to alignment issues. Backs still going strong. Replaced the fronts with Generals again. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
