New tires coming up

My current tire size is ST 205/75/14 on a 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite.
Can I go to 225/75/14 without creating a problem?

Larger diameter will probably rub the floor, just buy some Goodyear Endurance and don't look back

Stay with the original size 205/75-14. Larger tires may be too close together on tandem axles as well as potentially rubbing the fender wells.
No good reason to go up in size.

Not a problem if your wheelwells will provide acceptable clearances. But why would you do it? Your current size in a LRD provides all the reserve load capacity needed for a 100% cargo load.

Can I ask where you are getting these 225/75/14 tires from and the brand? I haven't seen that size in a very long time.

Yes easily it’s barely a width difference of .8 inches and slightly more than 1 inch height

I have a 2017 Micro Lite 25FKS. Just changed to GY Endurance ST205/75R14. Same size as before except going from load range C to D. 65 PSI and higher speed rating. I feel much better about these than the Castle Rock “bombs”

Yes they will work. A little higher so your bottom step up will be some higher. They are a little closer together but on your model as on the Rockwood Roo 24WS still works. Load range D is fine. D is rated at 65mph. No matter what speed rating the tires on your rig have, when something happens and you need to slow and stop fast there is a big difference coming down from 70 or 75 mph than 65 mph. And a blown tire with tread separation will be beating and damaging everything until you get stopped. A piece of metal can end a tire's life no matter what brand or type tire you have.
The GY Endurance ST205/75R14 is a good tire. With the 225 there isn't any advantage. I change valve stems every tire change on vehicles or RV. Castle Rock and China Bomb's are over dramatized. Other tires fail just as bad. Check some of the major tire manf for ST and LT... They are made in China as well or other pacific rim countries, some down south across the border. Inflation, Inflation, Inflation... Weight, Weight, Weight... are the biggest factor in tire failure on Any tire. The main reason that Castle Rock is so visibly on the radar for failures is that is what most of the industry uses... so the picture is a bit squeued because Castle Rock is the only one compared. Of the thousands of Castle Rock failures, Millions of Castle Rocks go their lifetime without issue and owners put new tires on without ever having an issue, me one of them.

I just bought a set of of Goodyear endurance st205/75r14 for my new microlite 25brds. Used the same tires on the last trailer.

Best price I found was through Walmart, 97$ per tire with free shipping. The manufacture date on the tires is March of 2019 so they are not some close out or old lot etc.

Had them changed at a local tire shop. Surprisingly one of the new tires would not balance so I called the third party dealer and it is being exchanged at no cost to me.

Check GY Endurance tire chart for diameter and width. Measure center space between current tires, need minimum of 2 3/4" w/ rubber mount axles. I went from 205's to 215's, lost less than 3/8" space between tires and 3/16' in floor clearance. GY has this size, few do. For me, the 225's would have been too close. Excellent tire after 1 year, 7k and shows little wear.
