Newbie with stabilizer jack problem

I'm new to the forum but I have been a reader for about one year. My problem is that stab. Jacks won't work. I searched for the fuse under the a-frame and also inside the trailer but can't find it. also I checked the electrical panel. It's like no power to them. Totally dead. 2012 flagstaff 30wrkss.

Have you checked power before the switch then again after?

power at the stabilizers?

The circuit breaker may be behind a Frame up under frame.
If you have an enclosed under body then there should be an access plate.

I had same type of problem on my Rockwood 2608 when I bougt in Feb. the fuse kept blowing in the fuse panel and found a loose wire in the circuit breaker causing the problem the breaker was behind a panel in the storage compartment directly above the stabelizer on the right side ( right side being the passenger side of Tv)

Mine have one of those resetable current limiters instead of a fuse. Try looking for a little box with 2 posts. Then check on the side of it for a button. They're hidden behind false panels in the storage areas near where my switches are.

I didn't check power to the stab motor yet. I thought since both front and rear will not work had to be fuse power on same line. I found only one fuse in A frame. It goes to power jack.

Look in the main fuse panel see if you have a led lit if so that is probably the fuse to the breakers that are resettable for the stabelizers at least that is how mine is. the resettable on mine did not trip it was the fuse in the panel that tripped because the wire was loose and causing an over load because of the connection. After tightening the wire I have not had a failure on mine.

So far no luck. Nothing under a frame. Pulled panels under TV main wire bundle goes though there but no fuses. Have not checked behind cb panel yet. The temps upper 80 s ac running. Thanks for tips so far.

Big Paul, I think the picture is a fuse release relay. Forest River didn't install any of these in my RV. Instead they used inline blade fuses. Tracing wires is a bit of a pain. My local repair shop found mine close to the exterior switch and the elect. motor. He said he had to remove a panel. (he said). Have you checked to see if their is power to the switch (12volt light tester)? On the other hand in the interim I used a cordless drill with a short extension and a modified deep well socket cut on the end of the socket to fit the dowel pin in the end of the screw rod of the stabilizer. The manual screw jack that came with your RV should give you a guide.

This picture is not exact to mine reason I said looks similar, to mine seems even if it says it is a Forest River most are different was just a thought since it is what happen on my unit. But it does appear that same type problems on most units weather Rockwood or other models just have chase the wire out until problem is found.

I finally found the problem. Yes there is a fuse in the electrical panel and also a auto reset breaker near the hot water heater. The wire from there goes to the rear up/down stab. switch and then on to the front up/down switch.The rear up/down switch was at fault and will be replaced. Also when I unplugged the rear faulty switch the front up/down switch would work.

Our (front & Back) jacks have one (15A) fuse for Both jacks in the (Power Control Panel),no CB in our system. Youroo!!
