Nitrogen? Yea or nea?

I run Nitrogen in my truck tires and both of my cars.
It helps the tire to run at a cooler temp, spreads loads out more evenly causing wear to be more even and I've actually had tires last a little longer with it. Lastly, it seems to leak out at a much slower rate than the 1lb per month rule of thumb with air. With roughly 100,000 miles in our 3 vehicles, I'm very sold on it for vehicle tires.

I'm considering switching to it in my boat trailer and in the 5th whl should we end up buying it today.

Thoughts on nitrogen in trailer tires?

Some swear by it some don't. Some think it cures cancer, some think it has a marginal effect. The physics suggest that it DOES leak out more slowly and temperature caused fluctuations are less, which may impact tire wear, I guess. My 5er has it from the factory, so there it is.

I don't buy into it...came in DW's car & fifth wheel...hadn't noticed a difference in either from non-nitrogen filled tires.

What ever they put in it, but once it gets low on pressure, I am walking over to the air hose and filling it up. Not looking for a nitrogen filling station. Life to short for all that.

Currently running it in my truck, just had to fill the tires, the only problem there is no station here, had to go to the dealership to get all the pressure right and had a hour wait just to do 4 tires. Wish they had a place were I could have gotten in and out.
