Parking/Emergency Brake on Georgetown

Hello
I just picked up my first MH (98 GT with 60K miles) and the previous owner stated he never used the parking brake during his 3 years of ownership. I know from automobiles if they aren't used in awhile they can freeze up. Should I attempt to use it or have it looked over at a shop. I'm afraid that if I apply them and they don't release I will be stuck.

Thanks

I would apply them very lightly and release and progressively apply them a little more and release them. Don't know the exact set up, but if possible, pull the brake release and hold it while setting the brake and you will be able to see if it releases.

No it's a pedal to the left of the brake pedal.

Push to set then push again to release correct?

If you can crawl underneath about mid to rear of coach cables will be open and not incased.
You can there grab cables pulling towards front to check operation.
