You have to add to that the weight of the TV's rear end when you lift up on it to take tension off the WD bars so you can easily get close to the limit of one of these jacks if you are lifting a big truck full of equipment as well.

As much as I can appreciate & admire someone hand cranking the jack, it won't be me. I can live with my manual awning & stab jacks but since I'm not getting any younger I will opt for this luxary item.

OHHH I see thanks.
I don't use a WD hitch for the truck, now I get it.

I guess that's why I didn't think it was a big deal to hand crank it, I'm only lifting the 4-500lbs of the tongue.

If I was lifting the back end of the truck with all the gear and the tongue I guess I would want one also.

Yeah. Sorry I was behind by a few hours. You will enjoy the husky too. You are right that they are both great hitches. Enjoy!

Here's my update.... The Husky Brute 4500 is really nice! I finally got around to installing it as it's not real great weather to be camping in here in Illinois. It's HOT!

Anyway, this thing took about 15min to install and wire up. I put the circuit breaker in between the propane tanks under the cover as it would not fit in the battery box. No big deal. Other than that...here are some pics. I did use butt connectors instead of solder because I was too lazy to drag out all that stuff, but I did put heat shrink tubing on.

Coolest thing is the adjustable foot!

Sorry, took these pictures before I wire tied everything up nicely. Manufacturer doesnt exactly make things pretty...

So....my curious mind wants to know....you have a 2012 trailer. Did you even contact your dealer to inquire about warranty replacement?

I did...my dealer is 75mi away though and wanted to just get me another Lippert. No thanks! It took my dealer 2mo to get me a new cabinet door and it showed up cracked in half.

I cant afford to waste my whole summer in hopes that they eventually send me a new crap Lippert tongue jack.

The other thing is.... I bought my 2012 a few months ago from a dealer that sells them brand new. Mine was used though. They gave me a great deal on it and clearly someone used it only a handfull of times...if even. It's CLEAN. They had new ones on the lot but for the savings I opted to get the used one. So in short...I have no warranty

I recently installed the same Husky jack on my TT, but you got a better deal than my $215 price...
Thought the ball bearing feature would be better in the long run.
Electric is great - the DW can now unhook the TT without my help.
So far it has been great!

I installed the Husky 4500 before our recent trip to Yellowstaone and Glacier Park. I have a heavy tongue weight ( 1350#'s). It worked perfect on my set up. It picked truck and all up while putting on my equalizer hitch ( 14k). Great jack.
