Replaced original tires

Replaced all 6 original tires that were: Michellin LTX M/S with the same size current version, LTX M/S2.

New version seems to run more quietly, and more smoothly BUT and this is a BIG BUT to me - - the new tires seem to make the entire vehicle significantly more sensitive to cross winds, cross wind gusts, and the "bow wave" generated by passing 18 wheelers. I am not so sure that I like this trade off at all.

Anyone else have this experience? Same vehicle set up, same tire pressures, only difference is new tires.

Thanks
