Question -
Is a bottle jack going to reach the frame to lift up the TT? That distance from the ground is almost 20". So it would seem you would need to stack a few boards under it so it would reach. My TT maxes out at 9200lbs, so maybe a 12 Ton Bottle Jack would do it.

As for the Trailer-Aid, will that work with the EZ-Tow Axels so the bad tire is high enough off the ground to remove it? this would seem lighter than carrying around another piece of heavy steel in the fragile storage compartmets too.

Thanks! Joe

X2 on the bottle jack, good wrench set and torque wrench!!! I also suggest a good jack-stand as these are light and great security... they are also handy if you're on soft ground and need to hold the trailer up temporarily to slide more blocks under the jack!

had a flat with our previous trailer- we stacked the 2x8"s we use for side to side leveling. loosened the lug nuts, pulled onto the boards and changed the tire. worked very well. took about 20 minutes. on longer trips I have an extra tire I put in the truck - just in case.

If you have ever tried to jack a car or trailer with a bottle jack on hot soft asphalt you will know you should put some boards under that jack. The small metal foot print with all that weight will sink right in.
