Retracting steps that are not!

I hope I'm in the right section for this question but since the steps on my
Solera 24S (2011) are attached to the frame(which is a subtopic...), then
here goes...

Have never had any problem with this since I bought the unit. Have had it
parked for the last three weeks after completing a 3,000 mile trip out West.
Keep it near my house and infrequently go in-and-out at will for this-and-that all the while with the steps extending and retracting as they should. In the
middle of these last three weeks I noticed that they suddenly refused to extend since then and need to know a few things from any of you...

1. Is the fuse for the electric steps one of the many hidden in the distribution panel near the floor below the oven? Cannot quite peg this
one as it does not seem to be listed in the coach manual that I downloaded from the FR site (of course ).

2. Haven't hit anything below near the steps but could one of the wires
below pulled loose(brown wire??)?

3. Do any of the fuses in the panel immediately to the left of the battery
steps control this?

4. Oh, I usually leave my steps retracted after exiting the unit by closing
the screen door, then reaching in and down via the access port and
turning off the battery disconnect(ie., I disconnect the coach batts...)
Master switch, and also the step toggle switch(red lighted). This completes
the retraction process with the screen door closed and also since the
magnet in the frame is engaged. Then I simply lock the main door and
walk away.

5. I've tried turning the Master on, plugging into shore power, running the
genset, running the engine but nothing thus far. The understep light,
btw, still lights on demand as does the porch light as per the other
red toggle switch on the immediate left of the entry steps over the
batt. compartment.

6. Up to now the steps would normally retract on cue whenever the
engine was fired up and retract on demand when the engine was
shut down...never had a problem with this.

I "thought" I read on an older "step" thread that someone turned his
Master off while inside the unit which retracted the steps and they've
never extended since but I don't remember ever doing it that way...only
from how I do it in step four(outside method).

SO...any idea's, thoughts, whimsies, perambulations, etc., et al, on this
subject would be highly appreciated. Just hoping it's a measly fuse as the
motor has always sounded strong down there, no complaints.

Don't know about a Solera, but on my class A, the steps are powered directly from the house batteries and have their own fuse on the wire that connects to the battery. They work regardless of the position of the battery disconnect switch. If the Solera is the same, look at the fuse holders on the few wires that attach directly to the battery positive posts. It should be something like a 15 or 20 amp fuse. If it is blown it would explain everything.

Now, all that being said, on my unit, the entry step light is powered by the step circuitry and if the same is true of yours, a functioning step light would indicate a blown motor or something more serious.
