Rim Question

I have the stock white rims on my Salem Cruise Lite.
They are showing rust and not even a year old yet.
Since it is still under bumper to bumper warranty, think they will replace them?

Could the rust spots be from stone chips? But always worth a call to the dealer and/or mfgr.

I kind of wish it was from rocks, then it would be "my" fault.
It is creeping from where the spokes are welded to the actual rim. I am guessing the backside is MUCH worse than what I am seeing on the front.

In that case, I would contact the dealer. I wonder who made the rims? I know Dexstar is a major mfgr of trailer rims.
