I had a flat tire on my TT and replaced the flat with the spare tire. My TT tires are mounted on chrome wheels and the spare is mounted on a steel wheel. My problem, I couldn't mount the chrome wheel back on the spare tire carrier. Does anyone know if there is an adapter that I can buy to install on the spare tire carrier when needed so I can mount the chrome wheels on the carrier. If so, where can I get this adapter? Thanks.
I have the same wheels but haven't had a flat yet, ha. IMO, I wouldn't spend the money on one anyway since I'm going to buy a new tire for the chrome wheel at the next major exit that has a Sears, Walmart, etc. etc..
