If you've properly rotated the tires on your car or truck two always go side to side and turn the other way.

Maybe it's your sparking personality ...

To each their own. I've had 5 RV's in my lifetime as a RV'r and have yet to rotate any tire, never had a flat, never had to replace a tire either. Nor will I start now.

And I doubt if both rvs together have/had 10K total on both of them together.

I'm sure if you hardly get to travel with your RV you will not need to rotate the tires before they rot off. We use ours and we have a triple axle and the rear tire definitely wears more than the front one does. so I just rotate the back to front and front to middle and middle to back each rotation.
I also spray my tires with Areospace 303 so they never dry rot.
To each there own.

I can understand different wear patterns on a triple axle, but not on a double axle. If I had a triple axle, I would rotate the tires as you do, I would under no circumstance switch side unless I unmounted the tires and turned them on the wheels and then switch sides. Changing direction on a radial tire is, IMO, bad news.

This was also told to me by a tire guy. Radials break-in or wear in going one direction, then when you move them to the other side of the vehicle, they wear faster now that they're rolling in the opposite direction from how they were broken in. I know car manufacturers will tell you to go side to side, but tire makers will not...😉

If I rotated tires on the camper I would be in the tire shop every other week I am there enough now that we are on a first name basis. I have bought as many as 20 tires in one year, (only bought 8 so far this year) so no I do not rotate the tires on the camper nor do I on the other 2 duel axle trailer I have. The DW says I have a car for every day of the week............

Never had a trailer tire wear or blow out & yes I have a few China bombs.......
I pull 5 different trailers & it is not unusual to be anywhere in the mid Atlantic moving one of the boys esp when they were in college. The box trailer was in Clarksville VA a couple weekends ago moving our niece & in Wilmington NC in April moving #2 son.

The wife's car was bought last Sept and she has put 35K on it so far, I have the truck, a driver Mustang (to go to work) & often (last weekend) help the boys get their tires. I try to rotate the cars tires ever 7-10K but that does not always work. I usually put 30K a year on my car too but this year I may not quite make it.

The long and short of it is in 30 years of owning campers & other duel axle trailers I have never rotated the tires. Mine always time out before they wear out.
