Shackles break and cause 3rd axle tire wear.

Our 2014 XLR Thunderbolt has broken shackles on the 3rd axle and we believe this has caused the inside of the rear tires to wear the tread off of the inside 2". Somehow, I don't think that 800 miles should wear out a set of tires? Anybody else had this problem or know of it? The dealership isn't much help.

We have pulled the shackles and will try to get replacements. The back tires ARE canted which we're sure caused the wear. Anybody?

I did email FR for advice.

Curious to know how the shackle replacement went! Did your original springs have the 1/4" thick dry shackle and if so, did you upgrade to the 1/2" wet bolt? Let us know any other issues you found with the running gear.
