Shock Kits

Continuing in my research of a non-custom shock system for my 5er, I am wondering if anyone has installed or evaluated the kit made by Lippert (The Mobile Outfitters) as available at Camping World. They even have a pretty comprehensive install video on U tube.

Any thoughts out there?

Dexter also has one, I noticed, but the top bracket must be welded.

Monroe's kit is no longer available.

I REALLY would like to move forward with this project and the Lippert ket seems the most complete and expedient, and since it is Lippert, I would think it would be compatible with a Lippert frame..

I wish I could help you, but I'm just going to comment so I can get email notices on this thread! I would love to have the independent suspension system, but a shock kit would be the next best thing. I'm convinced that the smoother you can get your camper to ride, the longer it will last. Shock, vibration and flex all reduce the life.
Hopefully, someone will post with helpful information.

Made my own shock kit for the Alko torsion axles and it really smooth's out the trailer ride and the dolphining or chucking in the truck.

I wouldn't let the need for welding to be a big barrier to choosing one. It should be fairly easy to find someone to do the welding.
