Short frame to brake wiring

I hope the bean counter that figured out the minimum amount of wiring and hose necessary for Forest River products got a great bonus.

I had a 6x14 single axle Continental Cargo box trailer with brakes. Shortly after getting it, I lost trailer brakes. When we went through a rutted out dirt parking lot at a MX track, it pulled the leads from the frame to the axle apart. This was probably 8-9 years ago.

Today, while replacing my fresh water tank (because of a mess up by me caused by using the minimal amount of hose... I see a trend here) I noticed that the rear brake leads had come undone so I guess I was using only from brakes for a while.

I guess this is more a vent an warning to check your brake wiring.
