Question Slanting Tongue Jack

We have a new 2016 Rockwood Mini Lite. The front tongue jack is not straight up and down, but is at an angle. When we returned the trailer to the dealer for service, we were told that Forest River will not fix this because the jack is functional. Has anyone else encountered this problem? It seems to stem from the fact that the plate where the jack attaches is not level with the tongue frame. Is there a way to fix this?

That seems like a safety issue that FR and your dealer would want to fix. Probably not safe for the weight of the tounge to be distributed on a slanted jack. I would make some calls to the factory.
