I have always cleaned and repacked trailer bearings and install new seals every spring. I repack the old school way, have not used the ez lube function on our 2014 unit. Coming up on my third year with this unit riding on original bearings. I do carry an extra set of bearings and a seal. I tow around 5 - 6 thousand miles a year, I'm a bit overkill on wheels and tires.
