Angry Spare Tire Stolen

So... Our Wolf Pup was parked at my office in a grass lot next to it and at some point in the last week (I think...) someone stole the spare tire off of the back!

I brought it home tonight to get prepped for our week long trip next week and my daughter walked up behind it and said the tire looked flat. I walk around the back and the tire cover is just hanging off the mount. I drove all the way home (20 miles) with cover just hanging there (at least the thief was nice enough to leave the cover) and the plate that holds the wheel on sitting on the back bumper!

I should have done a full walkaround before I left, but I will certainly start now. We do have cameras, but there is a lot of footage to watch because it could have happened at any point since our last trip. There is a 6ft chain link fence around 3 sides of the lot, but I guess someone really wanted that tire! No other visible damage to the trailer and nothing else missing.

I guess the real question now is where is the best place to get a new tire/wheel? Should I go to an RV dealer or a tire store? What should I expect to pay? We leave Saturday.

That stinks. Some people...

I have a cable lock around the spare and the cargo carrier hidden under the cover and I also have a cable around the propane tanks. I grew up in New Jersey - I trust no one!

I also replaced all of the storage compartment locks with the non-universal keys.

Just found the guy on video. He stole it at 2:50am on the 9th. Walked in, took it off and rolled it away. Sadly, I dont think that the video is clear enough to really determine who it was...
