I installed SumoSprings on my 2016 Coachmen Mirada (Ford F53). After taking it for a test ride today, I can say that I am impressed with the additional control and stability that they add. The MH is on a 2016 chassis, so it has a front track bar. I had previously added a rear track bar and I had done the Cheap Handling Fix (CHF) front and rear. One of the things I noticed with the CHF in the rear, was on the 2016s, an emergency brake drum is around the drive shaft directly in front of the rear differential and whenever the MH was raised up on the jacks the rear sway bar would come dangerously close to it. (See pic.) So while I was installing the SumoSprings, I put both the sway bars back to stock. Plus, I wanted to see how the MH handled with only the SumoSprings.
I live about 7 miles from a major highway and it is all winding, narrow, two lane. My first impression was that the MH felt more "planted" on the road and I did not get the wandering feeling that I used to have. It feels much more stable now. The "harshness" of the ride felt about the same as it did with the CHF. Unfortunately, when I got on the highway, I did not encounter any Semi trucks which I had hoped to, just to see if there was any change in effect when being passed. I will have to wait for the next trip.
