Suspension

I have a 2010 1640ltd when I take it on a washboard dirt roads it will bounce off the ground bad can I replace the 2 leaf springs with 3 leaf springs that have a higher weight load and will that improve my ride or can I add a leaf spring thanks

I would imagine adding more and/or higher load springs would INCREASE the bounce since they would be stiffer...

I think so too. I know for sure that hard tires means broken dishes in the camper.

I would consider adding shocks. If it is a tandem axle the Equaflex or Ex flex suspension would help. These are available from LCI or Dexter.
