tire/brake temps

Just got a nice new laser temp reader to replace my not so sensitive fingers to test tire and brake/bearing temps. Now that I can put a figure to the heat what should I expect to see after an hour or two at 60 mph? The TT is a Rockwood Mini-Lite 2304 with 205/14's load rating C @ 50 PSI mounted on aluminum rims and the TV is a RAM with 275/20's inflated to 35 PSI.

I spoke to a factory Rep a few years ago because I was having problems with a axle and wheel bearings by AL-CO, the Rep told me that it is normal for wheel berings to heat up to 180 degrees.

I spoke to another person about bearing grease and I was told to change the grease from the factory and use ATV heavy duty grease, it is 100% water proof and a better lubricant.

My temps on hubs run around 120 or so, but bear in mind that if one side of the camper is in the sun the whole time you're driving, the temps will be higher on that side then on the other side, also one side might be higher if the fridge is right over the axle on that side due to the higher weights.

They should all be close to the same temp with the ones on the side in the sun a bit higher. Hub temps should all be close to the same. Also you truck tires should all be close to the same temps. The exact temps will vary depending on ambient temp and time of day and amount of sun due to the road heating up as the day goes on.
