Tire covers

Recently purchased Wildwood 27RKSS. Live in Charleston, SC. TT is parked in full sun and used monthly.

Do I need to purchase tire covers for the TT?

If so, do these need to be used only when parked at home (i.e. when ununsed)?

I use tire covers anytime my unit will be parked for more than about week.

Do you only need to use them when parked at home... depends on whether you want to carry them and install wherever you might be. The more UV rays I can keep off them, the better off the tire will be.

UV is what most people think about but the item of real concern is HEAT. Here is my post with data showing the advantage of white covers.
