Tire Issue

I am hoping someone has some insight. Getting ready to replace my tires due to dry rot. Looked at the sticker and it said 205. But the tires are 225 that are on their now. Did they put the wrong tires on? Which size should I go with. This is a 2008 Rockwood signature ultralight 5th wheel. 8281ss. Has the aluminum wheels on it also.

No I bought it new from the dealer. I never replaced tires on it that I can remember. I never paid attention to the size or anything until inspecting to leave and found the tires were dry rotting and needing replacement.

That is an approx. 8,000# dry wt trailer, I would go with the 225 and the highest load range available. At least a D which is good for approx. 2540#
205 LR D are only good for 2150#

oh my gosh, the tire police say always stick with the tires on your load sticker. if you don't bad Carma will occur...

ONLY Kidding.

I did however have FR send me a new load sticker when they put different wheels on my camper than the spec.

Now you know why stickers are guidelines and not gospels!

Not me, just quoting what the weight (sticker) police preach.
