Tire pressure
I just want to make sure that I am doing the right thing here. Please look at these two pictures
The bottom picture has nothing to do with the air pressure correct? So, just go 50 PSI cold (no sun or recent driving on the tire) correct?
Thanks!

Thanks. Any reason to go shy of 50?

While you are checking your tires for 50 psi, cold.... also check your lug nuts are the right torque.

No reason to go less than max pressure when cold, usually all of our trailers are loaded and very close to max load, go with max pressure when cold and you won't have as many problems, under inflated tires build more heat and will cause problems.

The bottom picture is a warning to the installer about going above 40# to seat the tire on the rim. If you watch them, there is usually a loud pop when the tire seats to the rim. I would imagine they are worried that pressure above 40 might fracture the rim when it seats. JMO.
