To add metal vale stems would require a break down of all eight tires on truck and trailer, is this really necessary?

Depending on how long the stems are you could get away with just letting the air out and squeeze the tire down enough to remove the old and install the new without removing the tire.

Even though I have a tire mounting machine in my garage when I changed from standard valves to TPMS valves that is what I did on my 6 tires.

A Meritor inflation system for pickups would be nice if they could be retrofitted and affordable.

My question is, does the tps sytem work or a waste of money? I tow a 38 ft 5th wheel, will the system monitor from inside my truck back to the trailer tires. 2007 Chev. 2500 HD crew cab. will I need some kind od booster signal?

If you order from TST, they will be recommending that you buy the optional repeater for any camper longer than 30 feet.

I have a 39ft 5er with a Chevy 3500 long-bed and the TST 507 system works great for me with no repeater. Your results may be different. Try it. Add the repeater if you need it.
