Tst 507
If you remove the sensors and display for storage for lets say for a couple of months, do you need to go through the programming sequence all over again?
Another question. I am guessing Nitrogen or Air doesn't matter which?
Thanks

No reprogramming necessary. The display unit remembers everything.

1 more question
Do you need to track which sensor came off which wheel and make sure they get put back on the programmed wheel?
Thanks

Yes, for sure. When I ordered mine, they can with little numbered stickers that you could stick to the transmitters. I didn't have much luck with these lasting long so I put a number on them with a Sharpie.

Definitely, I made a little box with the top of the box being the front of the trailer for mine which works pretty good. Store a special wrench for it and the valve caps when the sensors are on. I also marked the sensors with white paint LF, RF, LR, RR. Made compartments for spare batteries also.

Would you mind if I borrow your idea for the storage box? I'd likely keep mine in something better than the cardboard box it came in.

More than welcome to it. It was made out of two pcs of scrap glued together and used Forstner bits to drill the compartments and a pc of Lexan for the cover.

I was under the impression that's what retirement was for. Doing what you want, when you want (if TOWTA oks it).

I look forward to having too much free time. I'll probably be busier than I am now!
I'm stuck on TOWTA. ????

I just ordered the 507 with 10 flow through valves. I'm hoping that they will go on the rear dually tires without too much of a problem. I guess I'll have to wait until they arrive. It would be real nice if I was handy like OC in building different things but I'm not so I will have to find something to hold the sensors in the off season.

I just received the Tire Tracker system. I am thinking about placing a transmitter on my truck tire spare if there is room. The tire is mounted under the bed, valve up so I need to take the jack apart and lower it to check the air. Sort of a pain. Not sure if the TX will worked all tucked up under the bed, but they are cheap enough to give a try or try one that came with my set up. I think they are a great investment. had 3 blow outs on my previous TT totaling over 3K in damage. These systems wont help in a blow out but a low tire that shreds does plenty of damage.

Just picked my unit up. Had 507 installed. Five miles down road passenger inside reads 0 air and driver inside not reading. Back at service center to be corrected.

I've also put TST 507 flow-through sensors on our camper. I hope that you're aware that these sensors need a metal valve stem due to their heavier weight. Regular rubber valve stems may fail according to the TST manual.

Lowes or HD have plastic boxes with partitions. Mark your sensors with paint to designate their positions and mark the plastic box compartments accordingly and stow them in it. Shop Flambeau Small Tool Storage Containers at Lowes.com

And they last about as long as it takes to put them on when you hit rain and you need 2 sets, 1 for the sensors and 1 for the box

Replaced stems with wire braid and secured inner stems to wheel cover.
Drove home, 100 miles, working well. Ned to discover sweet spot to mount.
