I installed a TST 507 system on my 5th wheel and truck back in March. The only trouble that I had was that I had to had add a repeater because my 5th wheel is almost 39' long. No problems after that. Twice on the trip I received an alarm and both time it was because of a tire problem. The system saved me from damaging the trailer tires and allowed me to pull off where it was safe. The system also made me aware of a very slow leak on one of the rear tires on my truck. Which I had fixed before it became a real problem. This is a great system and I am very happy with it. I also like the fact that I can use it without having the 5th wheel hooked up. Of course it only shows the truck tires but that is what I want when I don't have the camper hooked up.

Sorry to hear you had problems with Tire Minder. I've had mine for 3 years no issues, except an ear broke off on one of my sensors. They replaced it no charge. Batteries are replaced no charge through 2018. I suggest you talk to Tire Minder and see what they feel your problem is.

Safe, fun travels to Alaska.

Has anyone had a successful experience with Tire Minder?
I have Tire Minder but just ignore the alerts because I have wasted enough time, over the past three years, by the side of the road checking for a false alarm. I am about to trash it also!

I have returned Tyre Dog TPMS also. Two blowouts that were not detected. Showed both in normal condition - tire pressure and temp. Even when the tires were blown out. And to add insult I was charged a $35 restocking fee.

Guess I might give the TST 507 a try.

My Georgetown 364TS has a flexible inner valve stem. A solid straight stem won't work due to the "S-shaped" routing of the path from the inner wheel to the outer wheel. In other words, noting lines up straight. So, it appears that a flexible stem is the only answer. Does anyone have a way to secure the flexible valve stem so that it doesn't flop around and throw off the TST I'm about to install?
