Tire question

Does anyone have any experience with Duro trailer tires? My local dealer said he has been handling these tires for about three years now. Sells a lot & rarely ever has one come back for failure. Says they are so good that he quit handling Maxxis, which is what he sold before. Says the Duros are much better tires. Would really appreciate any input.
THANKS

We had two sets of Duro tires on our 2003 Coleman Mesa popup with never a problem. When I replaced the original set everyone on a popup web site swore that Duro was the way to go. My buddy bought the popup and the second set is still going strong.

Don't know if they are still as good as they were.

The Duro 2100 radial came stock on my Flagstaff. Was a great tire. Replaced them with a higher load rated tire last year after 9000 trouble free miles.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like good news. My local tire dealer swears by them; prefers them over Maxxis & GY Marathons. May consider a set for my TT.

Have Duro radical on my Flagstaff. Just turned 18.5 k miles on them after 4 years, they were a year old when I purchased the tt. Looking to up grade from a c to a d Duro, before going to Goshen this summer. Concerned over the 5 years bit even though the tires look great with plenty of tread. Local dealer has the d tires in stock and has much better price than other tires I have seen mentioned on the Forman.

My TT had bias ply Duros from the factory, I ran them for nine years before I replaced them with a set of Duro radials which I had three trouble free years with before I traded it in. My original tires, which I replaced because the weather checking was getting so bad, I sold to a guy at the shop for $20 and as of last year he still had them on his race car trailer. 13 years old and still kicking.
