Tires

I'm wondering how the tire date shows up on the side of the tire. I see MR01 on one of the new tires that came on our 2015 trailer and MLR12 on the one that was replaced due to warranty work due to a crack in the rim. Is that MLR the date the tire was manufactured? I hope that that MR01being 14 years old means in m wrong.
The new westlake tire is an E rated tire and has a 75 MPH rating. The other 3 tires have no speed rating on the tire. 58 MPH is my normal tow speed. Any help here?Click image for larger version

Here are a few pointers on tire dating and identification codes.

Barry's Tire Tech

Special Trailer tires (ST) do not have to have a speed rating letter on them. When unlettered they are 65 MPH tires. This will all change soon as foreign tire manufacturers are going to have to show a speed letter on all ST tire sidewalls.

Thanks Airedale. It really helped to understand the numbering on my tires. I'm still a little confused about the MLR 01. However all my tires were built it the last couple months in 2014, so at least I feel better about that.
